It’s been a busy 2014 for CUD, with their a new EP and a nationwide tour and plans for 2015 are coming together. CUD – THE COMPLETE BBC SESSIONS BOXSET
CUD’s Complete BBC Sessions does what it says on the tin! A 4CD set featuring 69 tracks including alternative versions of all of their hits, a smattering of covers including inimitable takes of Like A Virgin, Urban Spaceman and Down Down, plus the full Carefree Sud session in all its psychedelic glory.
Also included are the 3 John Peel sessions, some extremely rare regional radio recordings and a full gig from Sheffield Sound City in 1993, it’s a captivating catalogue of CUD’s career from 1987 to 2006.
The lavish boxset includes 4 exclusive postcards and a poster designed by the band plus a booklet with brand new sleevenotes from Carl, William, Mike and Andrew Collins.
For those of you who are thoroughly more modern, a download album of The Complete Peel Sessions is available too. It is the same as CD1 of the 4CD Boxset in the below tracklist.
