Who We Are

3 loop music are a group of experienced music and business executives who acknowledge and cherish the part that music has played in their lives.

Whilst accepting that the means of music consumption have moved on from our early days of wet Saturday afternoons trawling through the racks of vinyl in our local record shops, we at 3 loop music do bemoan the loss of the close identification with the producers of music.

More importantly we also recognise that a vast depository of genuinely quality music is out there but is not being marketed to new or returning fans.

We live and breathe by a few basic truths:

    • music should be about discovery and not just consuming what is put in front of you
    • art has no shelf-life; music deserves the right to be heard and promoted regardless of when it was created
    • music is a creative process that cannot be disassociated from its originators or the circumstances of its creation
    • the music industry must become more inclusive, transparent and equitable
    • the music industry must become more socially and environmentally responsible
    • the consumers of music owe an on-going obligation, both moral and financial, to artists for the risks they have taken in producing such an important part of our lives
